About Me
Hi! I’m Sophia. I’m a Creative Digital Content Creator from Santa Fe, New Mexico. My present home base is Portland, Oregon where I enjoy hiking and biking, hanging out with my dog Luna, and of course reveling in the city’s food scene.
I got my start in photography, 2D collage, and graphic design, but eventually I became interested in exploring new media, including video, motion graphics, and 3D design. I received my BFA in Multimedia Arts from Loyola Marymount University in 2018, and have been freelancing in these various fields since then, with a primary focus on website design and development.

01. Website Design & Development
With WordPress and other CMS platforms I create fully customized websites that bring a focus to what’s truly important for creating growth and expanding knowledge of your business or organization. I’m all about ensuring a collaborative process through listening closely and working directly with you to bring the best site possible to life.
02. Social Media Presence
Social Media is a must, as it helps build a relationship between you and those viewing your lifework through their screens. My social media approach works on basing this relationship off the strongest basic ingredients for success: Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, and Commitment.
03. Multimedia Design
I’ve been working in Adobe Creative Suite for over 10 years, refining my creative and technical skill set. In university programs and on through my freelancing career, I’ve used these skills to create video, audio and animated images for specialized projects. I have experience working with field experts to refine these kinds of projects, and I’m especially interested in doing multimedia work to serve an educational or informational purpose.
04. Graphic Design
The basis of all good design comes from using visual content to create or convey a clear message – AKA Graphic Design. I approach almost all my other work through a graphic design perspective by applying visual hierarchy, using typography and media to meet users’ specific needs, and by employing interactive designs to optimize the user experience.
